Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

1.1 Promoter – The PandaBee Company Ltd T/A PandaBee Giveaways (Company No. 16978561).
1.2 Competition – Any skill-based prize competition, draw, or giveaway operated by the Promoter.
1.3 Entry – A valid submission (paid or free postal) that complies with these Terms.
1.4 Entrant – Any individual who enters a Competition.
1.5 Winner – An Entrant selected in accordance with these Terms.
1.6 Closing Date – The date/time entries close.
1.7 Draw Date – The date/time a winner is selected.
1.8 Postal Entry – Free entry via post in accordance with Section 6.
1.9 Cart Reservation – Temporary reservation of tickets in a user’s cart.

3. Competition Format & Legal Basis

3.0 These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s Website or mobile application (the "Platform"). By entering any competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
3.1 All competitions are operated as skill-based prize competitions.
3.2 Entrants must correctly answer a Competition Question.
3.3 Where a question is insufficiently difficult, a free postal entry route is provided.
3.4 This structure ensures compliance with UK law and avoids classification as a lottery.
3.5 Questions require a reasonable level of skill, knowledge, or judgement.
3.6 Where necessary, the free entry route ensures legal compliance.
3.7 All times stated are in UK time (GMT or BST as applicable).

4. Eligibility

4.1 Open to UK residents aged 18+.
4.2 Excludes employees, agents, and immediate family.
4.3 Proof of eligibility may be required.
4.4 One account per person only.
4.5 The Promoter may disqualify entrants who:

  • Provide false information
  • Use multiple accounts
  • Attempt to manipulate competitions

5. Entry Conditions

5.1 Entries must follow website instructions.
5.2 Multiple entries permitted unless stated otherwise.
5.3 Entries must be in English.
5.4 Late or incomplete entries are invalid.

5.5 Cart Reservation

Tickets are reserved for 30 minutes only. No payment = no entry.

5.6 Ticket Allocation

Entries are confirmed only upon successful payment. First successful payment secures the entry.

5.7 Payment Processing

Failed or reversed payments result in cancelled entries.

5.8 The Promoter may impose limits on the number of entries per person for any competition.

6. Free Postal Entry

6.1 Free entry is available by post.
6.2 Entries must:

  • Be handwritten
  • Be submitted individually
  • Match account details

6.3 Postal entries are limited to one entry per person per competition. The Promoter reserves the right to impose limits on entries which may apply to both paid and postal entries.
6.4 Must be received at least 48 hours before the Closing Date.
6.5 Late, illegible, or bulk entries are invalid.
6.6 Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

6.7 Postal Entry Processing & Allocation

All valid postal entries will be:

  • Processed in order of receipt
  • Assigned a unique entry number
  • Treated equally to paid entries

Postal entries may be processed in daily batches.

6.8 Fair Participation

Postal entries:

  • Have equal chance of winning
  • Are included in the same draw pool
  • Follow the same process as paid entries

6.9 Cut-Off & Inclusion Guarantee

  • Valid postal entries received before the deadline will be included, provided the competition has not sold out
  • No additional entry pool is created
  • Sold-out competitions accept no further entries (including postal)

7. Entry Limits & Sell-Out

7.1 Competitions may have a maximum number of entries.
7.2 Once reached, the competition is sold out.
7.3 Competitions will not be extended to increase sales.

8. Draw Mechanics

8.1 All valid entries are assigned a unique entry number.
8.2 8.2 Winners are selected using a random number generator or equivalent process designed to ensure fairness and impartiality.
8.3 If an unallocated number is drawn, the draw will repeat.
8.4 Draws may be livestreamed.
8.5 Results are final, except in the case of error or where required by law.
8.6 The draw pool includes all valid paid and postal entries.

9. Fraud, Abuse & Fair Use

9.1 Prohibited:

  • Multiple accounts
  • Bots or automation
  • Payment manipulation
  • System exploitation

9.2 The Promoter may:

  • Suspend accounts
  • Cancel entries
  • Withhold prizes
  • Ban users

9.3 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any entry where it reasonably believes these Terms have been breached or where entry is not in the spirit of the competition.

10. Prizes

10.1 Prizes are as advertised.
10.2 Substitutions may be made with equal or greater value.
10.3 Non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
10.4 Cash alternatives may be offered.

10.5 High-Value Prizes

May require ID, licences, insurance, or legal documentation.

11. Winner Notification

11.1 Winners notified within 7 days.
11.2 Must respond within 21 days.
11.3 Failure may result in redraw.
11.4 Verification required.
11.5 Winners may be required to participate in publicity and their first name and county may be published.
11.6 The Promoter may be required to provide proof that a valid winner was selected. A winner’s first name and county may be disclosed upon reasonable request, in accordance with applicable law.
11.7 By submitting any content (including photographs), entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for promotional purposes.

12. Claiming Prizes

12.1 Prizes must be claimed by the winner.
12.2 Cash paid to a UK bank account in the winner’s name.
12.3 No liability for unclaimed prizes.

13. Prize Delivery

  • Delivered within a reasonable timeframe agreed with the winner
  • Not responsible for delays outside control
  • Incorrect details may result in delay or forfeiture

14. Refunds & Chargebacks

14.1 Entry fees are non-refundable except where:

  • Competition cancelled
  • System error

14.2 No refunds after:

  • Closing
  • Sell-out
  • Winner selection

14.3 Incorrect answers are not refundable.

14.4 Chargebacks may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Entry cancellation
  • Ban

15. Technical Issues

15.1 No guarantee of uninterrupted service.
15.2 Not responsible for outages or failures.
15.3 May correct errors or cancel entries.

16. Data Protection

16.1 Data processed under UK GDPR.
16.2 Used for administration.
16.3 Withdrawal may result in disqualification.

17. Marketing & Opt-In

17.1 Marketing is optional.

17.2 Contact may include:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • Phone
  • Push notifications

17.3 Unsubscribe anytime.

17.4 Does not affect entry.

17.5 Data not sold.

18. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

18.1 Checks may be carried out.
18.2 Prizes may be withheld if concerns arise.

19. Liability

19.1 Nothing excludes liability for death or injury caused by negligence.
19.2 Otherwise limited to extent permitted by law.

20. General

20.1 The Promoter may amend or cancel competitions.
20.2 Governed by English law.
20.3 Decisions are final (subject to law).
20.4 The Promoter shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to postal disruption, strikes, technical failures, or acts of God.

22. Competition Cancellation

24. Final Provisions

24.1 Terms override conflicting materials.
24.2 Failure to enforce does not waive rights.
24.3 Invalid clauses do not affect the rest.
