Fraud Prevention Policy

1. Purpose

This Fraud Prevention Policy sets out the measures implemented by The PandaBee Company Ltd T/A PandaBee Giveaways (the "Promoter") to detect, prevent, and address fraudulent activity in connection with its prize promotions, Website, and related services.

This policy supports the Promoter’s commitment to fairness, transparency, customer protection, and compliance with applicable UK laws, payment processor requirements, and banking standards.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All entrants and account holders
  • All promotions and entry methods (paid and free)
  • All payment transactions
  • All promotional activity
  • All associated systems and services operated by the Promoter

3. Prohibited Activities

  • Manipulation of competition mechanics or systems
  • Payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or use of unauthorised payment methods
  • Collusion with others to gain an unfair advantage
  • Interference with the Website, draws, or live broadcasts
  • Any behaviour intended to undermine the integrity of a competition

4. Monitoring and Detection

The Promoter employs a combination of automated and manual controls to identify potentially fraudulent activity, including:

  • Transaction monitoring and velocity checks
  • IP address and device analysis
  • Account behaviour reviews
  • Duplicate account detection
  • Payment processor risk signals and alerts
  • Manual review of suspicious entries or activity

5. Verification Measures

The Promoter reserves the right to carry out verification checks at any stage, including:

  • Identity and age verification
  • Address verification
  • Payment method verification
  • Source-of-funds checks where appropriate
  • Additional documentation requests

Failure to satisfactorily complete verification checks may result in disqualification or account suspension.

6. Enforcement and Sanctions

Where fraudulent activity is suspected or identified, the Promoter may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Disqualify entries
  • Withhold or forfeit prizes
  • Suspend or permanently close accounts
  • Refuse future participation
  • Reverse transactions where permitted

No refunds will be issued where fraud or abuse is identified.

7. Payment Processor and Banking Cooperation

The Promoter cooperates fully with its payment processors, acquiring banks, and financial institutions, including providing information required for fraud investigations, chargeback reviews, and regulatory compliance.

8. Reporting Concerns

Entrants who suspect fraudulent activity are encouraged to report concerns by emailing fraud@pandabee.uk. All reports will be reviewed confidentially and investigated as appropriate.
